Summers Stucco is a quality EIFS and stucco contractor serving the Roaring Fork, Colorado and Vail valleys including the communities of Rifle, Glenwood Springs, Parachute, Silt, Eagle, Vail, Snowmass, Aspen, Basalt, Carbondale, Rangely and New Castle. We are EIFS certified and insured. This means that you are sure to enjoy the quality and professional installation that so many of the non-certified companies in our area simply cannot provide.
Because there are so many unqualified installers EIFS has earned something of a bad rap. If installed correctly in conjunction with a properly constructed support structure and regular maintenance, EIFS very seldom fails within the field of the wall.
The bottom line is money. Non-certified companies don't have the proper training or experience to provide the quality installation that you need. They may be cheaper up front but you will pay more in the long run in repair costs.
We use high quality Dryvit EIFS materials and have earned the title of Dryvit Certified Contractor. (#000251 & #4000251)
We are also a Moisture Free certified contractor which means that we are certified to repair EIFS. (#2746)

Exterior Insulation Finish System is an acrylic textured finish coating (available in different textures and a large variety of colors) over insulation foam board (provides energy efficiency plus detail molding characteristics) and reinforced fiberglass mesh base coat (provides durability).
EIFS is only one element in the weather barrier of a structure. It is not a stand-alone system. EIFS very seldom fails within the field of the wall. When roof coverings and EIFS wall shells leak, the problem almost always occurs at the penetrations of different materials. An EIFS applicator usually has very little control of wall framing, sheathing, ground settlement, roof system, flashing, windows, caulking work, deck attachments, gutters and downspouts, light fixtures, vents and other penetrations made after the EIFS system is complete.
